Elisabeth Sladen's Autobiography Cover Revealed

Various online retailers including Amazon have uploaded the cover artwork for Elisabeth Sladens Autobiography. The Autobiography is expected to go on sale on the 25th of October 2010. The Book can be pre-ordered from Amazon. The Cover has been uploaded to the Merchandise section of the blog which can be accessed via the link on the right.

Baker and Sladen to Return to Doctor Who?

Various online sources are reporting that 4th doctor Tom Baker and his on screen companion Elisabeth Sladen may be making an appearance in Doctor Who series 6 alongside the 11th Doctor Matt Smith. This is currently only speculation and nothing has been confirmed, however Tom Baker has expressed an interest in recording Doctor Who Audiobooks and I'm sure miss Sladen wouldn't remind a return to new Who!

2 More Series for SJA!!!!!

It has today been announced that the Sarah Jane Adventures has been renewed for a series 4 and 5!!!! Both series will have 12 episodes and some information has been revealed regarding series 4 in an announcement on Digital Spy. Sarah Jane Adventures Nomination

The Nominations for this years Royal Television Society Awards have been released and our very own The Sarah Jane Adventures has been nominated in the category for Best Childrens Drama. The Sarah Jane Adventures faces stiff competition from other CBBC productions such as M.I. High and Roy.

Happy Birthday Elisabeth Sladen!

Today the 1st of February is Elisabeth Sladens birthday! , Elisabeth is known to all of us as Sarah Jane Smith in Doctor Who and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Sladen first appeared in Doctor Who in the 1960's when she played companion to the third and fourth doctor. SJA News would like to take this time to wish Miss Sladen a very Happy Birthday and the best of luck for the future

Congratulations go out today to Tommy Knight who turns 17 today! For those of you who dont know Tommy Knight plays luke smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures and Doctor Who. The Writers Tale: The Final Chapter

In a new book published by BBC Books entitled The Writers Tale The Final Chapter we learn an awful lot about Doctor Who but not only doctor who but Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures also! 15. It was also hoped that Martha would team up with Sarah Jane in the climax of season two of The Sarah Jane Adventures. When Freema became unavailable, the Brigadier was used instead.

16. Russell was offered the option to turn The Sarah Jane Adventures into a show airing on Sundays at 5.30pm, which would have required reinventing the series. He decided against it.

Joseph Lidster For Series 4

It has recently been confirmed that writer Joseph Lidster will be writing episodes for The Sarah Jane Adventures series four. He has previously written the SJA Stories Mark of the Berserker and The Mad Woman in the Attic, he also done a substantial amount of work for Torchwood, this includes two audiobooks, an original novel and a past episode. Further information regarding Lidsters story has not yet been revealed but they will be posted here as soon as available.

Also, today the 1st of January is The Sarah Jane Adventures 3rd Birthday! This day three years ago Invasion of the Bane first aired on BBC One!
