Everything Has It's Time and Everything Ends

Today at 5:15p.m. on the CBBC Channel The Man Who Never Was will conclude and with the end of this story comes the end of The Sarah Jane Adventures. As we all know Elisabeth Sladen tragically died of cancer in April and The Man Who Never Was was the final story she filmed. So, prepare to say your final goodbyes to Luke, Rani, Clyde, Sky, Sarah Jane Smith and Bannerman Road.

In other news the cover has been revealed for Elisabeth Sladen's autobiography which is due for release on November 7th. The Cover can be seen below.

Judgement Day and The Children of Steel Covers Released

Fairly self explanatory title, these are the covers for the two new SJA Audio adventures. Read By Anjli Mohindra and Daniel Anthony they will be released in November.

Airdates and Audio Collections!

The final series of The Sarah Jane Adventures will begin with Sky part 1 on Monday, 3rd of October at 5:15p.m on CBBC! In merchandise news all of The Sarah Jane Adventures Audiobooks are to be released in a collection! The artwork has been revealed and can be seen above.

Boxsets, Previews and Elisabeth Sladen

As most will know by now, The Sarah Jane Adventures Series 4 will be released on 31st October on DVD and for the first time Blu - ray. No official artwork has been released but it will be posted here as soon as it is. The boxset can be pre-ordered on Amazon for 12.99 on DVD and for 15.93 on Blu Ray.

As we all know Elisabeth Sladen sadly died earlier this year and Edward Russel has been raising money for the hospice that took care of Elisabeth during her final days. He has walked from Upper Boat Studios (where The Sarah Jane Adventures was filmed) to the BBC TV Centre and he has raised in the region of £15000! You can still donate to Edward's "Walk for Lis" here

We wish him all the best and would like to thank him for his efforts.

Final Three Story Titles Revealed

The latest issue of DMW gives three TBC episode titles for series 5 of The Sarah Jane Adventures. As the BBC have confirmed that after the death of Elisabeth Sladen there will be no new episodes then these are the final ever adventures. The following titles may change closer to broadcast,

It is with great sadness that SJA News reports that our very own Sarah Jane Smith actress Elisabeth Sladen has died after a battle with cancer at the age of 63. The actress leaves behind her husband Brian Miller and daughter Sadie.

Sarah Jane wins RTS Award!

The Sarah Jane Adventures has won the award for Best Children's Drama at this years Royal Television Society Awards! The winners were announced last night with Sarah Jane finally receiving an award, beating Tracy Beaker Returns! Congratulations to the cast and crew.

Nicholas Courtney Passes Away

Long time Doctor Who and Sarah Jane Adventures actor, Nicholas Courtney has sadly passed away at the age of 81. he appeared in many doctor who stories as well as making his return to the Doctor Who universe in the Sarah Jane Adventures series 2 Finale, Enemy of the Bane.

May he rest in Peace.

Today, the 1st of February is Sarah Jane Smith's or rather Elisabeth Sladens birthday! The Sarah Jane Adventures star who has also had roles in Coronation Street turns 63 today! Today the 22nd of January is Tommy Knights Birthday! The actor who has played the role of Luke Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures over all four series of the show turns 18 today and us here at SJA News would like to wish him a very happy day and the best of luck for the upcoming second half of the series 5 filming!
